Ricki Malet has been performing all over Perth for the last 20 years with various bands. He has toured extensively around Australia, and performed in Europe, USA and Japan. When not performing Ricki teaches at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and works as an MD with the West Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra (WAYJO).

This new ensemble, the Ricki Malet Quartet, draw on all the musical influences and experiences that has made Ricki the musician he is today. Elements of modern jazz, hard bop, the blues and swing will come together with energy, groove and group improvisation.
